Errors and Contradictions In The Bible

How many times has someone approached you and made this charge? “The Bible is full of errors and contradictions!”
I counsel my friends to simply reply, “Prove it. Show me one.”
Nine times out of ten, the false accuser couldn’t show you an example of any supposed error or contradiction in the Bible, even if their lives depended on it. However, these same people can now run to the internet or public library and get a list of supposed errors and so-called contradictions in the Bible. They can then return with “proof”.
Sadly, many times the believer who is confronted with these “errors and contradictions” is unable to give an answer, as Peter told us we should be able to do (1 Peter 3:15). Few believers are prepared to “contend for the faith” as Jude teaches us in verse 3 of his book.
So, what should we do? Should we just condemn and throw insults? No. We should seek to teach fellow believers so that they might be better used of God to preach the truth. And that is the purpose of this page.
