LDS (Mormon) President Gordon Hinckley: A False ProphetNOTE: Gordon Hinckley went to be judged by Jesus Christ on 1-27-08. It is sad to know that he expects to see Joseph Smith. It is sad that he rejected the Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ and will stand before a Great White Throne to be judged according to his works, which can never buy entrance into Heaven. What is worse is to think of the millions of souls that he helped to deceive.
"When the risen Redeemer appeared to the people of ancient America, He mercifully invited those 'afflicted in any manner' (3 Nephi 17:7) to come unto Him and be healed. "Marvelously, His divine authority to heal the sick was conferred upon worthy priesthood bearers in earlier dispensations and again in these latter days, when His gospel has been restored in its fulness." (Russell M. Nelson, "Jesus Christ--the Master Healer," Ensign, Nov. 2005, 85) Today, it is believed by the faithful Mormon that this gift of healing belongs to their "prophet" who is also called President. His name is Gordon B. Hinckley. And his lack of power to heal has been publicly documented on the Mormon's own sattelite television network.
Public Confirmation of False Prophecy of President Gordon B. Hinckley—Mormon “Prophet”
A Friendly Witness One example was provided in a speech given by Mike Willis on 9-27-01. He was speaking to students at BYU Hawaii. His message was basically on the issue of prayer. During his speech, Willis told of his granddaughter who was struggling near death. Willis himself claimed that God had spoken to him and told him that the child would be healed once the doctors had done all that they could do. Willis had laid hands on his granddaughter twice, but she remained severely ill and even worsened. In desperation, Willis called on LDS President Gordon B. Hinckley. Hinckley, as all Mormon Presidents, is considered God’s one prophet on the earth by LDS faithful. By phone, Hinckley agreed to visit the child in the hospital. Willis made clear that his influence in the LDS organization is such that he can reach Hinckley when needed. Obviously, this is not the typical experience of the LDS member who might wish to speak to Hinckley. It must be mentioned that Willis is a multi-millionaire who was introduced to BYU Hawaii students as one who headed multiple corporations and was a very successful businessman and active missionary for the LDS organization. According to Willis, Hinckley did exactly as Willis had done previously and laid his “fingers” on the girl and prophesied that after the doctors had done all they could do, the girl would be healed. Shortly after, the child died. Willis spoke in broken tones and told of how he did not understand what had transpired. He explained how that he struggled with this incident and the prophecy given, supposedly, to him by “heavenly Father” and spoken over the child by “the prophet” Hinckley. At this point, he claims that he turned to Isaiah who gave the word of the Lord that, “my ways are not your ways”. Willis then rationalized that the girl was truly healed, as in death she experienced full healing with eternal life. The problem with Willis’s rationalization is that it is not honest. Hinckley clearly spoke physical healing over this girl and there is no doubt that had she actually been healed, the LDS reaction would have been to propagate the healing as an act of God through their prophet. However, since the girl died, the reaction is to explain it in “spiritual” terms and ignore the obvious. The blind continue to follow blind guides and fall into the ditch. If you are a Mormon and reading this article, please be intellectually honest with yourself and turn to the TRUE Jesus Christ that is found in the plain and simple words of the King James Bible. God loves you and wants to save you, but if you resist the conviction of the Holy Ghost and refuse to trust in the Biblical Jesus then you will perish by your own choice in your own sins.
